Primavera 2014/15 Round 7: Inter and Roma remain perfect

PrimaveraWeek seven in the Primavera championship and both Inter in Group B, and Roma in Group C, still have unblemished records.

Group B leaders Inter opened a healthy nine point lead after beating Chievo 1-0 at home with a 13th goal of the season from George Puscas who has now scored in three games consecutively.

AC Milan bounced back from last week’s derby defeat by winning away at Hellas Verona, despite going behind to a Mohamed Fares goal, Andrea Vassallo, Andrej Modic and a brace from Luca Vido secured a Rossoneri win.

Cagliari bounced back from two successive defeats with a 3-0 home win over Pescara, Antonio Loi with a brace and Alessio Murgia the scorers.

Atalanta and Cittadella played out a 1-1 in Bergamo, Gabriel Lunetta put the home side ahead before Elia Bortoluz levelled.

Sassuolo hosted Brescia and won 2-1 after coming back from a Filippo Strada first minute goal, Marcello Sereni and Andrea Mandelli gave the home team the win.

Perugia had a 2-0 away win at bottom side Virtus Lanciano with goals from Lorenzo Musto and Lorenzo Bordo.

In the only goalless game of the group Cesena were held at home by Udinese.

Group C leaders Roma had a comfortable away win beating Frosinone 3-0 to maintain a  perfect league record, Edoardo Soleri with a brace and Riccardo Marchizza with a penalty the scorers.

Bari remain in second place after a 3-1 home win over Crotone, Dean Tisma put the home team ahead only for Andrea Tripicchioto to level from the spot. Christian Damiano won the game for the Galletti with two goals in the last five minutes.

Lazio needed an injury time winner at home to defeat Latina 3-2, Matteo Capanna put the away side ahead before goals from Simone Palombi and Christopher Oikonomidis put Lazio ahead. Five minutes from time Romeo Shahinas leveled the game, only for Mamadou Tounkara to score in time added on.

Palermo left it late to secure a 2-0 away win over bottom side Avellino with goals in the last three minutes from Antonio Fiordilino and Accursio Bentivegna.

Alberto Picchi scored the only goal of the game as Empoli won 1-0 at home against Livorno.

Catania drew 1-1 at home with Napoli with all the goals in the first eight minutes, Mattia Rossetti opened for Catania before Fabrizio Scapellato leveled.

Vicenza welcomed Ternana and played out a goalless draw.

Group A Leaders Fiorentina inflicted a secound consecutive defeat on Juventus winning 2-1 at home, the Bianconeri took the lead through Anastasios Donis. Lahat Diakhate equalised with four minutes to go before Luzayadio Bangu snatched all three points at the end.

Torino stay second with a 2-1 home win over Modena, Claudio Morra scoredfor Torino before Riccardo Geti leveled from the penalty spot before Valerio Trani scored the winner with three mintes left.

Pro Vercelli had a 3-0 home win over Varese, Cristian Bunino with a brace and Giuseppe Ianniello with the goals.

Bologna lost at home to Sampdoria 3-2, Dávid Ivan opened the scoring for the away side before Simone Golia equalized. Two goals from Luka Djordjevic won the game for the Blucerchiati despite a late Simone Rossetti goal.

Spezia remain third with an emphatic 5-0 away win at Carpi. Nicola Galelli,Marco Crocchianti, Sadiq Umar, Nura Abdullahi and Simone Bastoni the scorers.

Genoa welcomed Parma and played out a 1-1 draw, Paolo Ghiglione put Genoa ahead before a Jeraldino Jil penalty for Parma.

Virtus Entella drew 1-1 at home with Trapani, Francesco Ferracane opened the scoring for the away side before Briain Crivaro secured a point for Entella.
